AN Upton business says it was delighted to have made the short-list for the annual E-Commerce Awards 2003.
Travellingwithchildren, in Old Street, was one of 350 businesses across the West Midlands nominated for the e-business category, although it did not win an award in the final event.
The national awards celebrate the achievements of smaller businesses in four categories - e-business start-up, e-business, e-trading and voluntary and community - from which an overall winner is picked.
Travellingwithchildren, which sells products via an internet site and through its Upton shop, caters for families wishing to make travelling with small children easier.
It has won a string of awards, including finalist in the Business Festival 2002 awards and a Platinum Award in the Business Start-Up category from Malvern Hills District Council.
Managing director Annie Jones was pleased to have been short-listed.
She said: "We were delighted and very proud to be in amongst such prestigious companies. It's nice to know we are still doing as well as when we started up."
