THE Lyttelton Well will unveil its new counselling suite tomorrow (Saturday).
Counselling services have been offered by the charity at the Lyttelton Rooms for the last ten years. However, one of the large rooms in the building has recently been converted to form the suite.
A team of 21 qualified counsellors will be based there, offering free guidance on subjects such as marriage and divorce.
The suite will be opened by Nancy Bayes, a volunteer whose husband was one of the founders of the charity, and a thanksgiving service will be held, followed by refreshments.
Lyttelton Well manager Jean Holt said: "It is a secular professional counselling service run by Christians and they are well respected by local GPs and psychiatric organisations.
"However, we are non-profit making and so rely on donations and volunteers."
The suite will be opened at 7.30pm; more information is available on 01684 573702.
