Redmarley WI meets on Thursday, October 9 ,at 7.30pm in the village hall for A Savoury Evening. The competition will be flower of the month.
With the retirement of Mrs Sybil Pratt as local honorary secretary of the Children's Society, the new secretary will be Mrs Brenda Barnes who takes over from October 10. Brenda used to help with the collection many years ago and is a keen supporter.
The village hall AGM is being held on Monday, October 13, at 7.30pm in the Ian Smith room. All are welcome.
The auction of promises is on The road to Morocco in the village hall on Saturday, October 18. Tickets are £7.50 to include super and auction. Tickets are available from Jenny Berrington, Margaret Whittington and Gwyneth Benjamin.
