AN entire herd of dairy cattle comes up for auction at Hartlebury tomorrow.
The 46 Holstein Friesians at Old House Farm, Hartlebury, are being sold by farmer Phillip Terry due to his ill health.
The high-yielding herd comprises 32 milking cows and heifers, four in-calf heifers, two bulling heifers and eight heifers ranging in age from five to 15 months.
The herd is considered to be of exceptional quality and has produced 9,516kg of milk in the last 12 months.
The dispersal sale, which starts at 11am, is being conducted by Kidderminster auctioneers Halls.
