A BURGLAR fled a Stourport home on a push-bike after being disturbed by a pensioner.
The 65-year-old was alone in her home in Dunley Road when the burglary took place just after 11.30am on Sunday and police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
The woman heard noises and went downstairs to discover the intruder, who pushed past her and escaped through the back door.
The thief, who got away with a £350 hi-fi system, is described as a 6ft white man in his late teens or 20s with an athletic build, pale complexion, dark eyes and slightly wavy short brown hair.
He was wearing dark clothing and carried a large bag over his shoulder.
