On Friday, October 10, popular music critic Christopher Morley will present a programme of recordings entitled Music of the Mountains.
A regular visitor to the society, Mr Morley has promised to include in his programme music by Richard Strauss, Elgar, Mahler, Tchaikovsky and Hamish McCunn, but anyone expecting a recording by Manuel and his Music of the Mountains will be disappointed.
The programme will be given at Holy Innocents Community Hall, Kidderminster, starting at 7.30pm.
Visitors are always welcome at meetings. There will be a nominal admission fee.
Contact vice-chairman Von Stewart on 01562 755990 for further details of this or any society event.
