The autumn season of programmes began with a talk on beekeeping by Mike Jones of Stourport.
The talk covered not only how things should happen, but also the unpredictable, such as when he ended up sitting in his car with a swarm of bees in the back window.
The final show of the season is on Saturday in the village hall, Astley. The doors will open at 3pm with a sale of produce at 4.30pm. Any inquiries should be directed to Michael Ecob on 01299 822167.
This year's harvest supper is on Saturday, October 25 in the village hall, 7pm for 7.30pm. Tickets for this event are now available from Christine Parker on 01299 822263.
Following the meal, there will be entertainment led by singer Margaret Peters.
