FERNDALE Girls U-16s bounced back from the previous week's cup disappointment with a top-of-the-table weekend win.
They won 1-0 at TNS Shropshire in the Central Warwickshire League Premier B Division with a battling display.
Sarah Lojko grabbed the only goal in the first half but player-of-the-match was Stacy Whittall for a superb midfield display.
The whole back four were also strong for the girls who host the same opponents in their next game on Saturday, October 11.
