I AM writing in response to the news story about Kidderminster maternity unit halting deliveries of babies.
I have been lucky enough to be able to have two of my three children in the unit and I have nothing but praise for all the staff there.
They showed me nothing but 100 per cent encouragement and professional love and care.
Naturally, my heart goes out to all the parents who have, sadly, lost their precious little ones. It must be an unbearable loss.
But I feel that, based on my own experiences, the midwives also need some support because I cannot fault the professionalism they showed me.
