WYRE Forest Brintons threw away a three-goal lead over title-chasing Hinton to end up sharing the points in a 3-3 West Midlands League Division One South draw.
Forest Brintons took the lead on 15 minutes when Stuart Brogan's pass found Lee Jordan and he coolly slotted the ball past Spencer in the Hinton goal.
Then Andy Bayliss cut into the box and found Jordan who slid in a second 10 minutes later.
Dominant Forest Brintons had a chance to add a third when Jordan lobbed the keeper but the ball struck the bar and was cleared to safety.
But the third goal came after the break when Andy Oakes seemed to have sealed the points.
However, with 20 minutes left, Hinton pulled one back through Mike Marsden who out-paced Glen Beaman and scored with a low shot into the corner of the net.
Marsden added a second for inspired Hinton after poor defending.
And the equaliser arrived in injury-time when Ross Semple took advantage of slack marking to score from close range.
Forest Brintons players are asked to meet at the Hare and Hounds pub at 12.30pm for Saturday's game.
