KIDDERMINSTER angler Geoff Marlow caught a fully finned 5lb rainbow on the Stella Lake at Shatterford Lakes Fishery.
It was the biggest single fish caught on the lake last week but one angler from Wales caught 12 trout to 2lb 8oz.
The best flies proved to be viva and cats whisker.
On the Andy Capp the most effective bait was viva and montana but a yellow fritz was used by one angler who caught 12 trout to 1lb.
The Masters has re-opened where everyone bagged up with the average weight of 5lb 8oz. One managed four trout to 10lb on a fritz.
On the coarse scene, an Oswestry couple caught 10 carp to 22lb with pellets on the Erics.
The biggest catfish of the week weighed 27lb in a catch which also contained a 20lb catfish and 10 carp to 17lb.
Pellets proved successful on the Gainsborough where one angler caught a 25lb catfish and a 14lb carp.
On the Stuarts mixed bags of roach, bream and carp to 20lb are reported.
