A TWO-day event which saw a busy Redditch road closed off to traffic for two days has been hailed a success.
Redditch was one of 1,031 cities across the world to take part in In Town Without My Car.
The event was set up to promote public transport, walking and cycling.
Part of Evesham Road in Headless Cross was closed to traffic to allow members of the public to view displays, look at stalls and be entertained.
