THE September meeting saw president Irene Gardner welcome many members and guests.
Letters have been received from Edwards Trust and Acorn Children's Hospice Appeal, thanking the club for its support.
Irene welcomed Gladys Weedall to the club. Gladys has served as a member of Birmingham Inner Wheel for more than 20 years and has also been an honorary member of Rotary.
Members were then entertained by Debra Reynolds from Simply Floral, which specialises in supplying flowers for all occasions.
Debra and her assistant Karolyn delighted with seasonal displays and demonstrated the latest floral technique of pre-arranging a bouquet set in water.
Four lucky raffle ticket winners were able to take displays home.
Finally, Irene invited members to the president's lunch in October.
