REDDITCH firefighters got themselves into a bit of a lather at the weekend when they held a charity car wash.
More than £400 was raised through donations and the money will be split between Birmingham Children's Hospital, the County Air Ambulance and another, yet to be decided, charity.
A fire spokesman said: "Members of the Young Firefighters Association from Droitwich came over to help out.
"We washed about 300 cars and the whole day went very well."
