TASTE buds were tingling when students from a Droitwich school took part in Macmillan's world's biggest coffee morning.
Pupils from Whitford Hall and Dodderhill School took part in the charity event in aid of Macmillan Cancer Relief on Friday.
To raise cash, the children took part in a cake competition and the best went under the hammer in a silent auction.
Charity
There was also a Guess the Name of the Teddy competition, which raised £50 for the cancer support charity.
Head teacher, Joan Mumby said: "The event was a great success and we managed to raise over £300 for charity. Copious amount of cake was eaten and the event was well supported by the parents. The pupils worked very hard to organise everything."
