The October meeting of the club sees a change of speaker, owing to commitments Peter Thorn cannot attend, so we now have a slide presentation with Solihull-based Chris Kenyon.
Chris' presentation is entitled Over The Water to the 5ft 3in Gauge Ireland, a very interesting subject as the presentation is taken from his vast slide collection. Over the years the club has not had many speakers on this subject, so we are all looking forward to it.
Ireland has a large railway system, with a lot of history to it. There were many different gauges and locomotives in years gone by, this presentation will show some of that. A night not to be missed!
The date of the meeting is Wednesday, October 8. As always we meet at St Godwald's Church Hall, Aston Fields. Doors open at 7.15 for a 7.45pm start.
There will also be a bookstall, refreshments and a raffle on the evening.
