DEAR EDITOR - What has happened to honesty?
On Wednesday, September 17, at approximately 4.10pm I was in Forbuoys on Bromsrove High Street and after a purchase I made sure my handbag was securely fastened having had my pension payment stolen in the High Street some months before.
I had placed my purse containing £15 and some loose change on the cabinet in the centre of the shop but was distracted and as I left he shop realised I had not picked up my purse.
I immediately returned to the shop and there was no sign of my purse anywhere. I enquired at the counter but no-one had handed in a purse to the staff. My address was in the purse.
So to the person who picked up my purse, just remember that one day you will be an old age pensioner and may be a little forgetful and rely on the honesty of others.
