DEAR EDITOR -- With regard to the recent letter concerning St Nicholas' churchyard in Droitwich Spa, I would like to point out that the people who tend and care for the churchyard are made up entirely of volunteers, who give up their own time to make the place as nice as they can.
They take pride in their work, and I for one believe they do a great job for the church.
I am sorry that it does not come up to C. Bowen's standards. Perhaps they would like to join the volunteers and thereby help them achieve a standard to rival that of St Mary's at Stourport-on-Severn. I am sure their help would be appreciated.
