NEIL Fletcher hit an unbeaten 112 as Cutnall Green Cricket Club defeated Kays by six wickets in a friendly match.
Green won the toss last Sunday and chose to field with Matt Evans and Matt Harris restricting Kays to 60-1 off the first 16 overs.
But Kays stuck at their task and steady scoring saw them post 202-8 with J Beck top scoring with 62. Fletcher took 2-20, Derek Higgins 2-43 and Les Poultney 2-39.
A solid batting performance from openers Fletcher (112 not out) and Harris (36) saw Green's reply to 110 in 24 overs when Harris was caught off T Neel's (2-53) bowling.
The Green pressed on and quick fire partnerships with Fletcher from Matt Evans (19) and Tomas Watson (15) took them on 166-3 in the 30th over.
The hosts reached their target in the 35th over.
