ANYONE who enjoyed watching the last night of the Proms on TV can experience a similar event for themselves on Sunday evening when Birmingham's Symphony Hall hosts Last Night of the Autumn Proms.
The London Concert Orchestra, conducted by Robin Stapleton, will play a selection of popular classics, joined by soloist Andrew Zolinsky on piano and Soprano Victoria Joyce.
The programme includes Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty Waltz and Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, with pieces from La Traviata and The Magic Flute plus all the usual favourites such as Land of Hope and Glory and Rule Britannia!
Tickets for the concert, which begins at 7.30pm, are priced £7.50-£26 from 0121 780 3333.
