STUDLEY manager Mark Chambers will take his side to Oldbury United on Saturday hoping for a fourth straight win for the Bees.

And he is hoping to call to striker Andy Grubb as the player looks for a way back after overcoming his injury nightmare.

The Studley forward was one of the Bees' leading marksman before damaging his cruciate ligaments two seasons ago. A brief spell at Feckenham followed before a return to the Beehive in the summer.

But Grubb's return was cut short in Studley's opening friendly and he has had to work hard to regain his fitness.

Chambers said: "Andy had a run-out for a team on Sunday and was training this week and had no reaction.

"He has worked really hard to get himself fit again and will be in contention for the match with Stratford (last night) and Saturday's game at Oldbury."

And there was further good news for the manager with Steve Duncan also nearing full fitness after spending two years on the sidelines.

"Stevie is a quality player and has been back in training for a couple of weeks," Chambers added.

"But we don't want to rush him back, he will play when he is ready."

Ian Mitchell, Seretse Cannonier and Dave Sheward bagged the goals in Studley's 3-0 win at Rushall Olympic on Saturday, Mitchell's goal a brilliant long-range strike.

Chambers added: "We have had three straight wins now but it makes our defeats against Willenhall and Quorn even more frustrating as we should have got something from those games."

Alvechurch left it late before grabbing a share of the points at Willenhall Town.

Kenny Fergie hit a last minute equaliser for the visitors after Keith Rostill had struck a first for Church midway through the second half.

They head to Grosvenor Park on Saturday - a side that has managed just one point from their four home games this season.
