A YOUNG Bromsgrove hockey star has taken a major step towards the international game after being selected to represent the Midlands.
Lora Symonds, a pupil at Bromgrove School, in Worcester Road, has been named in the Midland Hockey Association's U15s Girls' squad for the National Regional Championships.
That tournament, between Friday, October 17 and Monday, October 20, is an important part of the selection process for the England squad ahead of the U16s European Championships next year.
