A SIXTY-five year old woman came face-to-face with a burglar who had broken into her home in Stourport-on-Severn.
The woman was alone in her home when she heard noises, and presumed her husband had come home.
She went downstairs and saw the burglar.
He pushed past her and left the house through the back door, making his escape on a cycle.
A hi-fi system valued at £350 was the only item stolen.
The burglar is described as white, in his early 20s, 6ft tall of athletic build.
He had dark eyes, a pale complexion and short brown hair which was slightly wavy.
He was wearing dark clothing and carried a large bag over his shoulder.
