STEWART Hadley has left Worcester City by mutual consent.
The 29-year-old striker has struggled to regain full fitness and after discussions with manager John Barton has agreed to cancel the remainder of his contract.
Several clubs had shown an interest in taking the forward on loan but Barton said Hadley had opted to retire.
"Injury has ultimately forced the decision," said Barton.
