IT would appear that Worcestershire County Council no longer wants Christopher Whitehead School on the site in St John's.

The citizens of Worcester paid for this school to be built in 1934, 1936 and 1963 and therefore it is only fair for them to say what is done with the monies from the site.

Let's get the priorities right. Worcester really needs a new three-lane road bridge from Tybridge Street to the Butts, to allow the city to remain open, whatever the state of the river.

Let the education Department build their new school and the monies from the site in St John's pay for the new bridge.
