WEST Bromwich Albion have a chance of going top of the First Division if they beat Millwall at The Hawthorns tonight.
Leaders Sheffield United and second-placed Wigan --who have one point more than the Baggies -- are away, at Wimbledon and Cardiff City respectively, meaning third- placed Albion could well take over number one spot if they pick up maximum points.
Baggies' boss Gary Megson said: "We have had some good results but we haven't exactly played anyone off the park at The Hawthorns.
"We are capable of beating anyone on our day but we have to improve our performances, while still getting the results we have been.
"The biggest thing we have got going for us is our support. Some of the players who come here are amazed at the level and quality of support we have got.
"We know if we start games in the right vein, with the support we have got, it has a snowball effect and can really help us.
