WORCESTER City are planning to run the rule over a former Leeds United striker.
Neil Ross, aged 19, an ex-Elland Road apprentice, made a scoring debut in City's Central Conference 4-4 draw with Rushden and Diamonds last night.
City hope to take another look at him before making any decisions. Manager John Barton said: "We are trying to play it down at the moment, but he didn't do bad."
Nathan Jukes (2) and Jamie Hyde scored City's other goals.
Defender Dave Richards has completed his free-transfer move to Dr Martens Western Division side Blakenall.
The 23-year-old, who was in his fourth season at City, had struggled to break into the first team this season.
Former assistant manager Paul Davies will leave the club after tonight's training session.
