WORCESTER Rugby Club prop Alejandro Moreno has been selected for the Italian Six Nations Championship team.
The 28-year-old will start at tight head prop against France in Italy's opening game of the championship at Stade de France on Saturday February 2 (2pm).
Moreno, who joined Worcester in July, has already represented Italy on four occasions and played for them in the 1999 World Cup.
The 18-stone six-foot tall forward has also gained international honours for Argentina, the country of his birth.
Moreno will play for Worcester in Saturday's crucial National Division One match against Rotherham on Saturday before leaving for Italy on Sunday.
