YOUNGSTERS will be practising their sports skills after being provided with a skateboard ramp and goal nets on their playing field.
Voluntary youth group Angels in Exile, based on Canada Way in Worcester, have donated a mobile skateboard ramp for use on the Brum playing field in Dilmore Avenue, Fernhill Heath, every other Thursday, between 7pm and 9pm.
Youngsters were at the playing fields to make use of the ramp last night, when representatives from North Claines parish council also presented two new football goal nets to the village.
"It's just some extra facilities in the village for the children as there is not a lot for them to do, so we will just try it out to see if it works," said parish councillor Celia Bradnock.
