THE man who lifted the Conference trophy for Kidderminster Harriers in 1994 has retired from football.
Right-back and skipper Simeon Hodson was also involved in Harriers' historic run to the FA Cup fifth round in the same season.
But a knee injury has forced the 35-year-old former England semi-professional international to hang up his boots after a fine career.
Hodson played more than 200 Football League games for the likes of Notts County, West Bromwich Albion, Newport County and Mansfield Town.
He signed for Harriers in 1993 and then went on to stay in non-league football, turning out for Altrincham before ending up at Dr Martens League Sutton Coldfield Town.
