WORCESTER and Moseley will share the North Midlands Under-17 Rugby Cup after a 3-3 draw in a tense final at Silhillians yesterday.
There was nothing to separate the sides at the end of proper time and, with no provision for extra time and no tries scored in the match, the trophy was shared.
Moseley won the Under-15 Cup with a 3-0 victory over Bredon Star but they were beaten 11-5 in the Under-16 Cup final by Old Salteians in the shock of the day.
Worcester took the Under-14 Cup with a 50-5 demolition of Bromsgrove.
Meanwhile, Bromsgrove won the North Midlands Colts Cup with a hard-earned 25-17 victory over Old Halesonians at Dudley Kingswinford.
Bromsgrove opened up a 20 points interval lead, but then Old Halesonians hit back.
The Bromsgrove tries were scored by winger Matt Lewis, who touched down twice, flanker Carl Bradley and full-back Byron Hobbs. Ben Copson converted one of the tries and he also landed a penalty.
