TOTS at Home Farm day nursery in Bromsgrove had a fluffy surprise when they watched two duck eggs hatch.
After a visit to Umberslade Children's Farm, the nursery was given four fertilised duck eggs to look after.
The eggs were kept warm and dry in an incubator and 28 days later the four little ducklings were born.
A run in the 'pets' corner' of the nursery is their new home at Lydiate Ash and the cute youngsters have been keeping cool in the hot weather by splashing around in an old baby bath.
Manager Jackie Shakespeare said: "The children just loved being able to watch two of the ducklings hatch."
