Dear Editor - In an age of prejudice and intolerance, it is wonderful to see the welcome extended to asylum seekers by the people of Droitwich Spa.
The Somali families currently being housed here by Wychavon have been made to feel a real part of the community. When the residents of Evesham and Pershore protested against proposals for Throckmorton, their councillors made alternative suggestion of using our Spa as a relocation centre. I am so glad their cynical ploy has backfired into such a positive outcome.
