WORCESTERSHIRE Director of Coaching Tom Moody is confident his side can come through one of their toughest tests of the season tomorrow.

The Royals face Glamorgan Dragons at Swansea (1pm) in Division One of the National League, having been pipped to the title by the Welshmen last season.

Moody's men suffered two costly defeats to Glamorgan which ultimately cost them first place, although revenge will not be a factor tomorrow as the County seek a third win in four league outings.

But second-placed Glamorgan have won four out of four so far this season, and Moody said: "We appreciate that they are a good one-day outfit and have been for a number of years. Tomorrow will be a big challenge for us.

"We are putting together some good cricket at the moment and they are playing some good cricket in that competition. It will be a good test for us.

"What has happened in the past is behind us now and we are looking forward to going out and trying to continue our winning ways -- Glamorgan are the next side on our agenda."

David Leatherdale and Matt Mason are expected to return to the County line-up after being omitted from the Championship clash with Somerset at Bath.

Leatherdale in particular will be hoping to repeat the heroics that won him the man-of-the-match award in the County's C&G Trophy victory over Yorkshire.

Moody said of the experienced all-rounder: "He is an important cog in both our teams and is a very valuable one-day player."

Moody will be looking for a timely tonic ahead of Tuesday's C&G Trophy quarter-final against Leicestershire at Grace Road.
