EVESHAM United manager Phil Mullen has snapped up Kirk Master from Halesowen Town.

The diminutive Master is a skilful forward or midfielder and joins ex-Worcester City midfielder Marc Burrow as Mullen's first signings of the summer.

"I'm delighted to get both Master and Burrow," said Mullen.

"Master will be a great asset to the club and he can play in midfield or up front.

"I nearly signed him before he went to Halesowen so its great to finally have him on board."

Mullen has also thrashed out new deals for Mark Shepherd, Wesley Joyce, Andy Smith and Nathan Jukes while goalkeeper Damian Quailley, who broke his leg last season, is also back at the Common Road club.

n Kidderminster Harriers have struck a deal with West Bromwich Albion to stage some of their reserve games at Aggborough next season.

They will host up to seven Premiership reserve games during the mid-season period, with potential opponents including Aston Villa, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester United, Everton and Manchester City.

Matches will be played on Monday evenings and Harriers will benefit financially although they are not disclosing details.

Secretary Roger Barlow explained: "The arrangement shouldn't cause us any problems with the pitch as only six or seven games will be played here.

"It's not a bad deal for us, especially if some of the bigger sides from that league play here during that period."
