ORGANISERS of a Home Zone project at a Malvern Link housing estate are hoping to find someone to take care of a proposed new play area.
The project aims to make the area around Duke of Edinburgh Way safe for pedestrians and cyclists.
After lengthy and close consultations with residents, plans have been drawn up which include traffic-calming measures and other alterations to make the estate pedestrian friendly.
At a meeting on Monday of the Malvern Area Joint Councillor Forum, Rachel Hammond of Halcrow, which is co-ordinating the project, said they were looking for a body to take responsibility for a children's play area.
They now plan to make a presentation to Malvern Town Council to enlist its support.
