Craven Arms again had the best result of the Week 9 matches, winning 10-0 away at Temesters. Harry 'Hornet' Harrington was the best for the Arms with a 21-5. Temesters just lost out on a couple of close games.

On the adjoining green Burway hit back from their defeat last week in the best way with another 10-0 whitewash of Brimfield. Johny 'Blacktoe' Smallman with 21-5 was the best in a massive 126 shots victory.

The leaders Ludlow Castle travelled to Bishop's Castle and recorded a respectable 7-3, 40 shot win. Simon Lane was the best with a 21-8. Ronny Ellis bowled well to beat the in-form Matty Lane 21-13.

At The Linney, Linney had a good 8-2 victory over Bylet. Steve Davies the best 21-6. Little Ben Allen won again and young Boe Bowen is getting close, proving Eddie Cadwallader's youth policy is working well for the Linnets.

At Stokesay, Stokesay's two youngsters starred. Adam Ray beating Bromfield's best player 21-10 and Jessie James 2 better 21-8. Johnny 'Old Fella' Potts won 21-11 for Bromfield in the closest game of the season. Five each on games, Stokesay edging it by two shots in their first win of the season.

At Mortimer v Corve 'Big Tommy' Bore was again the best winner 21-3 for Mortimer in a 7-3, 42 shots win. The best win for Corve was young Anthony Rogers with a splendid 21-11 win.
