I RECENTLY needed to visit the minor injuries unit at Kidderminster hospital. Even though I attended at change of shift, I did not have to wait long before being seen by very pleasant and helpful staff.
How ridiculous it is that this unit is so restricted in what it can do. I know a man who broke his leg and had to go to Worcester, also having to attend for follow-up treatment.
It is not difficult to imagine the trouble he was put through to get there with a broken leg, not being able to walk.
Why on earth could he not have gone to Kidderminster for follow-up treatment?
