ADRIAN Blackledge and new signing Mike Weideman recorded half-centuries as Stone won by six wickets at West Malvern in Worcestershire League Division Six.
Nick Powell was the pick of the Stone bowlers with 3-38 off 12 overs as their fellow villagers were restricted to 218-7.
M Blackbourne top scored on 73 not out but then saw Stone begin well in reply with Pete Glover (20) and Blackledge (57) putting on 53 for the first wicket.
Weideman (55 not out) and fellow newcomer Ray Logan (25) kept up the required run rate.
Powell chipped in with 15 not out to see Stone home with two overs to spare.
Malvern 218-7, Stone 219-4.
