BIDFORD'S inconsistent season continued with a Premier Division defeat at the hands of Shipston-on-Stour at the weekend.

The Big Meadow side put on 179-5 but saw their opponents reach their target for the loss of five.

The reverse means Bidford stay rooted in mid-table but have only 13 points on the relegation places and face a tough examination on Saturday when they host league leaders Overbury (2pm start).

Overbury visit Bidford's Worcestershire League neighbours Astwood Bank on Sunday and the Bank will be hoping Jekyll and Hyde Bidford can dent their opponents' confidence with a defeat.
