I AM amazed at the stupidity of some people. All the time the owners of retirement homes around Worcester were struggling to keep their homes open because there was not sufficient cash being paid to them, many of which were forced to close.
Now the hospital is to be given £490,000 to help pay the fines the Government is imposing upon the hospital for allowing bed-blocking!
It would have been better to put the £490,000 towards keeping the homes open. But then no one thinks these days, nor do they listen.
