WYTHALL climbed to second in Division Three - their highest ever league placing, after a win over fellow promoted side Jaguar Daimler at the weekend.

Matt Elwell knocked 61 as Wythall raced to 209-9 and Jaguar were unable to come up with any answers as they finished all out for 129.

Maximum points took the Silver Street side into the second promotion place after coming up from Division Four last season.

Wythall will be hoping for more of the same when they visit relegation candidates Castle Bromwich on Saturday (2pm start).

A fourth defeat from six matches has Five Ways Old Edwardians set to complete an instant return to Division Four after promotion last year.
