REDDITCH will be hoping to pile on the misery at struggling Stourbridge at the weekend (1pm start).

The Black Country outfit appear bound for the Worcestershire League after four defeats in an opening sequence which has seen them yet to win in their opening six matches.

But Redditch skipper Nev Mason says his side will have to improve their batting performance if they are not to present Stourbridge with an elusive victory.

The hoped-for return of batsman Chris Gibson could also stiffen the mid-table side's batting at the weekend.

The Bromsgrove Road side took another step back after their Bank Holiday double victory, losing by 86 runs to Old Elizabethans.
