BARNT Green CC First XI had to settle for a draw against Old Hill in their Birmingham and District premier division clash last Saturday.
Simon Froggatt top scored with 67 not out and Gavin Haynes made 45 as Lyndon Jones' side made 241-8 at Cherry Hill Road.
Harshad Patel hit 59 in reply, but Old Hill, who lost to Green neighbours Bromsgrove in the National Knockout last week, came to a halt on 171-6. The result allowed the hosts to jump above Old Hill into fifth position in the table.
Captain Jones, on duty with Wales this week, said a draw was about the best his team could have hoped for.
