Billy Bob Thornton plays an officer on Death Row, who executes a man who was once married to the woman played by Halle Berry. She portrays a single mother with little money, a low-level job and 30 days to leave her house.
Through chance she meets Thornton and they find comfort in each other.
Peter Boyle plays Thornton's bitter father, and Puff Daddy has a small role. This film contains scenes of a sexual nature.
The film begins at 7.30pm and lasts for one hour 51 minutes.
