AN investigation has been launched after the body of a small dog was discovered in a sack floating on the surface of a Redditch pool.
Fishermen called police after seeing a white bag floating on Ipsley Pool, off Old Forge Drive, last Wednesday.
Redditch Council dog warden Julie Edmonds is now investigating the incident and said it was suspicious as two house bricks were found in the bag with the dog.
Mrs Edmonds said it could have been possible someone disposed of a dog that was already dead but added it could have been alive when it was dumped in the pool.
