Cookhill strengthened their grip on Division Six with a win over bottom club Claverdon II at the weekend. Claverdon finished on 89-8 and the Cotswold League newcomers responded for the loss of three wickets to go 18 points ahead of Evesham III and give themselves a 26 point cushion in the promotion places.
Cookhill visit Woodbourne on Saturday (2pm start).
