M S Fuller (You Say, Monday, May 19) argued that the proposed £2 parking charge at the new hospital isn't expensive for four hours.
Maybe. But many visitors to the hospital don't stay for four hours, and £2 for half-an-hour is expensive.
As regards finding a space, the answer is apparently to arrive at least an hour early.
Unfortunately, many people can't take extra time off work to do that and drive round in the vain hope that a space becomes free.
As regards the point about undue criticism of the hospital, I think M S Fuller will find that the vast majority of the criticism relates to the parking and not to the medical services provided.
