REDDITCH Hockey Club stayed on track with an impressive win in a national mixed competition.
The Bromsgrove Road side beat a strong Southampton side at home to win a spot in the third round.
Emma Preston scored both in a 2-0 win to help erase the memories of a difficult season which saw the club's ladies relegated into the Worcestershire County League.
