Confusion should now come to an end in Elcock's Brook after Redditch Council's executive committee agreed on the name of a section of road.
There were questions whether the section was called Cross Lanes Road or Sillins Lane.
Residents said they had always known it as Sillins Lane and councillors agreed that was the correct name.
